It was announced in 2008 that the United States had purchased a site in the Nine Elms area of Wandsworth for the building of the new U.S. Embassy.
Five years on and the construction site is now in full operation which can be seen in the panorama taken on the 2nd October. Although building work has started, it's not expected to be complete until 2017 when the U.S. Embassy will move in.
Regal Tanks are very proud to have been associated with this project and have been contracted to supply 460,000 (460m3) litres of storage for bentonite. This has been achieved using 5 of our 80,000 litre (80m3) vertical hire tanks (which you can see in the panorama on the U.S. Embassy website) and additional open topped hire tanks for associated works.
