Regal Tanks recently welcomed local MP Peter Aldous to their operational site to discuss HS2 after a meeting was arranged by the Senior Public Affairs Manager for HS2. Regal Tanks, well-known for its expertise in the supply of high-quality storage tanks has an impressive track record and reputation, and has become a key player in the development of infrastructure projects across the country. During the tour of the Regal Tanks facility, MP Peter Aldous was given a firsthand look at some of the tanks used in their tank rental business, quality control measures, and the company's commitment to suppling the best equipment. He was visibly impressed by the scale of operations and the company's dedication to suppling high-quality storage solutions.
Regal Tanks were contacted by HS2 around three and a half years ago, prior to the commencement of construction, to query whether they would be the main supplier of storage tanks for the project. Storage tanks are essential for the containment of various liquids that are used in the construction of high-speed rail. Due to the high volume of industrial storage tanks that HS2 would require, Regal Tanks were asked if they would be prepared to make a significant investment in new tank hire equipment. After agreement with HS2, orders were placed with multiple tank manufacturers; one of these companies entire production line’s was taken over with orders from Regal Tanks for over one year.
The Senior Public Affairs manager for HS2, expressed his support for the collaboration between businesses like Regal Tanks and large-scale infrastructure projects like HS2. He stated, "It's vital that we engage with businesses to ensure they can actively participate in the economic growth opportunities that major projects like HS2 bring.
